Searching through the web looking for good and bad examples of webpages that followed the design principles we learned about this week was a fun and helpful exercise. I never really pay attention to those kinds of things so when we had to really look at it this week it was very eye opening. I had learned a little bit about the different design principals in my undergrad but I never really looked for them or put them into practice. They will definitely be helpful going forward when I start creating my own things.
I found a pin on Pinterest this week that was very helpful in seeing how the UX job market is dissected. I think I am still a little too early in my UX journey to worry about a UX job or which path I am going to take, but it was still very helpful in getting me thinking about where I could potentially want to be working towards.
I took a glance at week 6 and I am excited to be making my own type system. It comes at a good time for me to utilize that in my current job as well, so win win!
